TGM: Total Suspension of Traffic this Weekend for Kheireddine Bridge Renovation
The traffic on the northern suburban train line (Tunis-La Goulette-La Marsa (TGM)) will be completely interrupted on Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7, 2025, to resume on a single track on Monday, December 8, 2025, on the section between the "Tunis Marine" and "La Goulette Casino" stations and between the "Kheireddine" and "La Marsa Plage" stations, announced the Tunis Transport Company (Transtu) on Thursday. This interruption is due to the work undertaken as part of the Kheireddine canal bridge renovation project, explains the company, emphasizing that the services of bus line 347 will be reinforced on December 6 and 7, 2025, from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with a frequency of every 20 minutes on Saturday, through the mobilization of 6 buses, including 4 double-deckers, and every 30 minutes on Sunday, with 4 double-deckers.
