Iranian Foreign Minister Warns of “Catastrophe” for Enemies in Case of Ground Invasion
Tehran, 5 March 2026 – Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, warned on Thursday that any ground invasion of Iran would be a “catastrophe” for its enemies, insisting that the Islamic Republic is “ready for any eventuality.”
“We are waiting for them. We are confident in our ability to confront them, and it will be a disaster for them,” Araghchi told NBC News, the American television network.
