The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (Hiil) Tunis office, in partnership with public and private sectors, is organizing the second edition of the "Technology for Economic Justice" forum, to be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Tunis Convention Center.

Under the theme "Towards a Justice System that Serves the Economy"

This event will bring together representatives from the presidency, ministries of Social Affairs, Employment, and Vocational Training, ministries concerned with micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the National Bar Association, as well as public and private institutions, professional organizations, startups, and national and international experts.

Key Highlights of the Forum

  • The forum will present several innovative initiatives aimed at bringing justice closer to the economic world, including the "Monde du Travail" platform, which provides individuals in Tunisia with rapid access to reliable, high-quality, and tailored legal information to help them prevent and resolve work-related issues with personalized advice.
  • The platform also offers employees and employers faster dispute resolution mechanisms.
  • A presentation of startups active in the field of legal innovation will be followed by a vote to elect the best among them.
  • A high-level discussion on the role of artificial intelligence, innovation, and economic justice in supporting SMEs will take place on the sidelines of the forum.

Promoting Innovation and Accessible Justice

The forum will highlight innovative solutions such as digital platforms, alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, and public-private partnerships to promote a culture of innovation, accessible justice, and sustainable entrepreneurship in Tunisia. The program includes the presentation of the "Monde du Travail" platform, developed in partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs and the General Labor Inspection, to facilitate access to clear and reliable legal information for workers, SMEs, and entrepreneurs.

Hiil's Commitment to Accessible Justice

Through this forum, Hiil Tunisia reaffirms its commitment to making justice more accessible, effective, and connected to economic needs. In partnership with public and private actors, the Institute works to integrate justice as a lever for development, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (Hiil) has been active in Tunisia since 2012. Since 2022, the Institute has been implementing a four-year program, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to support labor justice and strengthen economic justice, with the aim of making justice a driver of economic and social growth in Tunisia.
