Tunisian Champion Wafa Masghouni Qualifies for Semi-Finals in World Taekwondo Championships
Tunisian champion Wafa Masghouni successfully qualified for the semi-finals in the -62 kg category at the World Taekwondo Championships today, Wednesday, October 29, 2025, after eliminating Polish athlete Julia SZPAK in two rounds with a score of 3:1 and 11:4.
With this qualification, Wafa Masghouni enters the top four for the first time in her senior international debut. The city of Wuxi, in the People's Republic of China, is hosting the World Taekwondo Championships for seniors (men and women) ("Road to the 2028 Los Angeles Games") until tomorrow, October 30, 2025.
