Olympic Champion and World Number One, Firas Gattoussi, Qualifies for Quarterfinals
The Olympic champion and world number one, Firas Gattoussi, has successfully qualified for the quarterfinals in the -80 kg category at the World Taekwondo Senior Championships (men and women), which will run until October 30, 2025. Gattoussi secured his spot in the quarterfinals after eliminating Moroccan Haitam El Zehrouti with a score of two rounds to zero (4-2 / 6-3). The Tunisian champion will face South Korean player Geon-woo Seo in the next round.
