The News Breaks from Germany’s Capital
The announcement came from Berlin. At the close of the ITB Berlin fair – the annual gathering of the global tourism industry – the To Do Award 2026 was awarded to WildyNess.
This prize, which each year honors an exemplary initiative in socially responsible tourism, was presented to the young Tunisian company, a distinction that was echoed by the German Embassy in Tunis.
Behind this international recognition are two unconventional journeys. Achraf Aouadi and Rim Bourguiba, co‑founders of WildyNess in 2021, both left their careers as software engineers in Germany to pursue a different vision of travel. Their company offers off‑the‑beaten‑path trips, both in Tunisia and beyond its borders, placing sustainability at the heart of every experience.
The trajectory of WildyNess also fits within a cooperation framework: GIZ Tunisia, the operational arm of German international cooperation, is among the actors supporting its growth alongside several other partners.
