Suspension of TGM line service between Kheireddine and La Marsa Plage

Tunis Transport Society Informs Clients of Disruptions on Tunis-Goulette-La Marsa Railway Line

The Tunis Transport Society is informing its clients using the Tunis-Goulette-La Marsa railway line, as well as road users, that due to scheduled works on Sunday, September 7, 2025, regarding the installation of support blocks on the bridge located at kilometer point 15.990 "Carthage Hannibal", traffic will be organized as follows:

For the TGM Train, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM:

  • The circulation will be interrupted on the section between "Kheireddine" and "La Marsa Plage" stations.
  • The circulation will continue normally on the section between "Tunis Marine" and "Goulette Casino" stations.
  • To compensate for this interruption, the offer on bus line n°347 will be reinforced throughout the day. Additionally, continuous journeys will be ensured during peak hours to connect "Tunis Marine" to "Sidi Bou Saïd".

For Road Traffic, from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM:

  • The road will be closed at the level of the Hannibal bridge.
  • For those coming from Sidi Bou Saïd: Continue on the road and take a detour via the Amilcar bridge, then via Habib Bourguiba Avenue.
  • For those coming from La Goulette and heading to La Marsa: Continue on the road and take a detour via the Amilcar bridge.

The Tunis Transport Society counts on everyone's understanding in the face of the necessity of these works, which are part of the renewal of the railway infrastructure.
