Creation of a Steering Committee for the Sabkhet Ben Ghayadha Project
On the occasion of the signing of the state support contract for the selection of a strategic partner for the Sabkhet Ben Ghayadha project, the Minister of Equipment and Housing, Salah Zouari, announced on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in Mahdia, the imminent creation of a steering committee dedicated to monitoring the project. This committee will be responsible for providing all the necessary information, documents, and studies for the advancement of the various stages of project preparation, as well as ensuring continuous coordination between public stakeholders, experts, and representatives of the MAP/ARLYNK/PWC Group. The Minister emphasized that this structure will ensure clear governance, better information circulation, and faster decision-making, in line with the orientations of the President of the Republic and the High Committee for the acceleration of public projects. The signing of the contract between the IGPPP and the consortium marks a structuring stage for the launch of the project, while the upcoming establishment of the steering committee is an essential lever to guarantee effective monitoring and pave the way for a realization that meets the expectations of residents and investors.
