Tunisia’s First 2026 Recruitment Session Kicks Off on March 2

The Ministry of National Defense announced that the first recruitment session for the year 2026 will open on Monday, 2 March 2026 and run through Friday, 10 April 2026.

Who Must Register?

  • Young people born in the first quarter of 2006
  • All individuals born between 2000 and the first quarter of 2006 who have not yet regularised their status under the national service law

The Ministry emphasized that this call targets those who are still non‑compliant with Tunisia’s compulsory military service regulations.

Recruitment Process

  • Dedicated recruitment commissions will be deployed across the country’s delegations according to a pre‑set calendar.
  • Captain Achref Khelifa, head of the General Directorate of Recruitment and Mobilisation (Ministry of Defence), urges every eligible young adult to report to one of the designated recruitment and mobilisation centres located in:

    • Tunis
    • Sousse
    • Béja
    • Kasserine
    • Gabès

Why It Matters

Regularising your status now avoids future penalties and ensures you are eligible for future civil‑service opportunities, scholarships, and employment benefits linked to national service completion.
