Regional Seminar on Olive Oil Export Perspectives
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Center (CCIC), at the initiative of the Ministry of Trade and Export Development, is organizing a regional seminar on "Olive Oil Export Perspectives" (Region III) on Wednesday, December 3rd, in Sousse.
Seminar Objectives and Presidency
This regional seminar will be chaired by Mr. Samir Abid, Minister of Trade and Export Development. The objective of this meeting is to present the promising export opportunities for olive oil on global markets, as well as to listen to the concerns and proposals of professionals in order to strengthen the competitiveness of this national product on foreign markets.
Export Development Strategies
Tunisia is working to stimulate the export of packaged olive oil and diversify export destinations, particularly to emerging markets in Asia, Latin America, Russia, and the Gulf. The main export destinations for this Tunisian product remain the European Union, particularly Spain and Italy, as well as North America.
