The 7th Edition of the Sousse International Textile and Clothing Fair
The event, now in its 7th edition, will take place from October 16 to 18 at the Sousse Exhibition Park.
Over 250 Exhibitors and 700 Businessmen Expected
More than 250 exhibitors and around 700 businessmen are expected to attend the 7th edition of the Sousse International Textile and Clothing Fair, which will be held from October 16 to 18 at the Sousse Exhibition Park, the organizing committee announced yesterday. Speaking at a press conference held yesterday in Sousse, the CEO of the Sousse Exhibition Park, Abdelaziz Dahmani, specified that the venue has all the necessary infrastructure to ensure the success of the event. This edition of the fair is expected to welcome around 7,000 visitors, a number that is constantly increasing compared to previous editions, he added, emphasizing that improving services is a priority for the organizers, who have put in place optimal conditions to receive over 700 businessmen and more than 250 Tunisian and foreign companies operating in the sector.
International Participation
Regarding the nationalities of the exhibitors, Dahmani mentioned, among others, Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, France, Italy, Germany, India, etc.
A Strategic Bridge between Industrials, Suppliers, and Manufacturers
For his part, Serhane Pul, General Manager of the co-organizing and main partner company of the Sousse Exhibition Park, highlighted the international and open character of the fair, which constitutes a strategic bridge between industrials, suppliers, and manufacturers.
A Reference Event for the Sector
Tarek Haj Ali, Vice-President of the Tunisian Federation of Textile and Clothing (Ftth), recalled that this event, a reference for the sector in Tunisia, will allow professionals to discover the latest innovations in the field and establish direct links through B2B meetings between Tunisian entrepreneurs and industrials. He also added that the Federation will set up a special pavilion bringing together 30 companies, representing all stages of the production chain, with a presentation of old and modern equipment, from thread and fabric to finished products.
Focus on Sustainable and Circular Economy
Six Tunisian start-ups will present their concrete solutions in the field of circular and sustainable economy, highlighting environmental and social responsibility criteria as a lever for export. The Ftth aims to support training, recycling, and research efforts for new markets, while encouraging young talents to become more involved in the sector. This will be achieved through a revision of programs in universities and vocational training centers.
Conferences and Thematic Workshops
Conferences and thematic workshops on the latest trends in the sector will also be organized on the sidelines of the fair.
Fashion and Creativity in the Spotlight
Fashion and creativity will be in the spotlight during the closing evening, with the presentation of new collections and innovations in the world of textiles and clothing.
