Police Crack Down on Two Drug‑Trafficking Networks in El Aouina, Sousse
Sousse, Tunisia – Officers and senior staff of the Rescue Police Service of the National Security District of Sousse, working together with agents from the Sousse‑Ville region, succeeded on Wednesday in dismantling two active criminal networks involved in drug trafficking in the El Aouina neighbourhood.
The operation resulted in:
- Arrests: 3 suspects taken into custody.
- Seizures:
- 9 cannabis “plaquettes” (compressed bricks).
- 41 additional cannabis pieces.
- 150 g of cocaine.
- A cash sum linked to the trafficking activities.
