Tunisian Activist Ali Kniss Returns Home After Being Expelled by Israeli Authorities

Tunisian activist Ali Kniss, a participant in the "Freedom Flotilla" aiming to break the Gaza blockade, arrived in Tunis on Monday afternoon, coming from Jordan, after being expelled by Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday. Kniss and his companions were taken from their ship in international waters on October 8.

Upon his arrival at Tunis-Carthage Airport, Kniss stated to the media: "It is essential today to focus on what is happening in Gaza, on what the criminal enemy is doing, on stopping the war and rebuilding Gaza." He added: "We must continue on the path to Gaza and support the Resistance, especially since there are more than 10,000 Palestinians in captivity, including over 400 children..."

The Israeli occupation army had taken Kniss and other activists into custody on October 8 in international waters while they were on board the ship "Al-Dhamir" (The Conscience), which was part of the Freedom Flotilla attempting to open a maritime corridor to the besieged Gaza Strip.
