Global Solidarity Fleet Departure Postponed
The departure of the global solidarity fleet, initially scheduled for today, Wednesday, from the port of Sidi Bou Saïd, has been postponed again to Friday, September 12, announced Mohamed Amine Bennour, a member of the fleet committee.
Reasons for the Postponement
Bennour explained that the postponement was due to logistical reasons, related to the maintenance of certain ships in the fleet and the organization of passengers on board, as well as bad weather conditions in the Mediterranean.
Preparations for Departure
He specified that the fleet will head to the port of Bizerte, in northern Tunisia, today, Thursday, to finalize maintenance work and ensure that weather conditions will be favorable for the scheduled departure on Friday.
