Tunisian Association of SOS Children's Villages Launches Solidarity Campaign for Eid al-Adha

The Tunisian Association of SOS Children's Villages has recently launched its new solidarity campaign in celebration of Eid al-Adha. This initiative was officially announced through a press release published on the organization's Facebook page.

Through this appeal, the association is calling on Tunisians, both at home and abroad, to show their generosity. The goal is ambitious: to provide 2,300 families with a sacrifice for the holiday. This support will be extended to both integrated homes and families benefiting from the family strengthening program, aiming to bring joy to approximately 10,000 people.

For the SOS Children's Villages management, this campaign goes beyond mere material aid. It is a full-fledged transmission of the values of sharing and social cohesion characteristic of Eid al-Adha, offering a concrete opportunity to spread happiness within the most vulnerable communities.

To facilitate the generosity drive, the association has multiplied the channels for collection. Donors can contribute financially through their credit card on the official SOS Children's Villages portal or make a bank transfer to the dedicated bank and postal accounts, using the code 905 for the Tunisian Post. The mobilization is also accessible by phone via the sending of an SMS to the number 85510, at a cost of 2 dinars per unit.

For citizens wishing to offer a sacrifice directly, the association has opened its doors in the four villages of Gammarth, Siliana, Mahrès, and Akouda. Contact points are also available in the regional offices of Jendouba, Sidi Bouzid, Médenine, Djerba, El Alâa, and Hassi El Ferid, with a dedicated phone line at 58 371 002.

Currently present in 12 governorates, the Tunisian Association of SOS Children's Villages does not intend to stop there. With its current care for 10,000 beneficiaries, the organization is setting clear ambitions for 2026. It plans to extend its action to 14 governorates, aiming to reach 12,000 beneficiaries by the end of the year.
