Preparations for the 2025-2026 School Year at SOS Children's Villages in Tunisia
According to Rami Ben Saleh, Director of the SOS Children's Village in Gammarth, 5,268 children from the Tunisian Association of SOS Children's Villages are preparing for the upcoming school year. As a guest on the "Youm Saïd" show on National Radio, Ben Saleh announced that the success rate for the 2025 baccalaureate exam among the village's youth reached 67%. All graduates have been guided towards university to pursue their studies.
To support these children, the association has launched a national fundraising campaign. Rami Ben Saleh called on all Tunisians to participate, highlighting that Tunisian donors from 60 countries have already contributed to previous campaigns. The goal is to motivate children to succeed and strengthen family cohesion by providing them with the necessary conditions for a successful school year.
The association cares for 6,500 children, including 450 orphans or abandoned children, and over 6,000 living with families supported by the association. To celebrate deserving students, the association will organize a special ceremony on Friday, September 12, to mark the Day of Knowledge.
