The National Water Supply and Distribution Company (SONEDE) announced that temporary interruptions in drinking‑water distribution will affect several regions on Monday, 23 February 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m.
Why the interruption?
According to a press release issued on Saturday, the service cuts are necessary for scheduled maintenance and upkeep at the Zarat seawater desalination plant located in the Governorate of Gabès.
