National Water Supply and Distribution Company (SONEDE) Announces Water‑Supply Disruption in Nefza
The National Water Supply and Distribution Company (SONEDE) has announced that a breakdown that occurred on Thursday evening on the sub‑mersible pump of the deep well “El Khenga” will cause interruptions in the distribution of drinking water in the town of Nefza and its surrounding areas, located in the Béja governorate.
In an official statement, the company clarified that water supply is expected to resume gradually from noon on Friday, 6 March 2026, once the fault has been repaired and the well is back in operation.
