El-Fejja Social Housing Project: Beneficiary List Finalized
The regional commission for social housing in the Manouba governorate has finalized the list of beneficiaries for the "Erriadh" social housing project in El-Fejja, according to Governor Mahmoud Chouaïb. The keys to the individual housing units will be handed over soon.
Project Details
The project includes:
- 617 individual housing units currently being completed
- 930 collective housing units, with 210 in the bidding phase
The governor emphasized the regional commission's and the steering committee's efforts to complete the work as soon as possible.
Transparency and Eligibility
To ensure transparency in the allocation of housing units, the regional commission for social housing:
- Revised the list of candidates announced in 2021
- Relaunched social investigations for all applicants
- Verified the data provided, examined files on the ground and administratively, and checked compliance with legal and social conditions in coordination with the relevant structures
- Addressed all complaints and appeals submitted to the commission
Upcoming Steps
After final validation of the lists, a random draw will be held to distribute the housing units in the presence of bailiffs.
Project Overview
The "Erriadh" project aims to build 1,547 social housing units (individual and collective) with a total budget of approximately 97 million dinars, jointly financed by the state and the Saudi Development Fund. The project's management unit and the regional commission in Manouba have selected 5,248 eligible applications out of a total of 11,102 files submitted to benefit from this residential project.
