Tunisian National Real Estate Company (SNIT) Opens Public Bidding for Commercial Properties
The Tunisian National Real Estate Company (SNIT) has announced the opening of public bidding for the purchase of commercial properties attributed to the highest bidder. This opportunity is available in several residential complexes located in the governorates of Tunis, Ariana, and Manouba.
According to a press release issued by the company, the proposed commercial properties are spread across four prime sites in the midst of urban growth: the "Nour Jaâfar" village in Raoued (Ariana governorate), the residences "Marwa" and "El Rayane" in Sidi Hassine Sijoumi (Tunis governorate), and the residence "Balkis" in Mornaguia (Manouba governorate).
The covered areas of these commercial properties range from 49.30 m² to 105 m². The company has set the global opening prices (excluding estimated 19% VAT) based on location and surface area. Prices start at approximately 61,000 dinars and reach over 145,000 dinars for properties with private parking, with a minimum overbid of 1,000 dinars.
Regarding the participation conditions, the company invites interested individuals to submit their applications in a sealed envelope with the mention "Do not open – Commercial property sale offer". Applications must be sent via Rapid Post, registered mail, or deposited directly at the central order bureau at the company's headquarters in El Manar II, Tunis.
To ensure the seriousness of the offers, the participation dossier must include a detailed financial proposal in numbers and letters with a legalized signature, accompanied by a copy of the national identity card and a receipt for a financial guarantee of 1,500 dinars deposited at the company's cash register for each targeted property.
The company has specified that the criteria for attributing the properties will take into account the payment method (cash or bank credit), with priority given to cash payment in case of equal financial offers. It has also emphasized that the registration fees at the finance department and the act drafting fees (estimated at 1%) are entirely the buyer's responsibility.
