Road Accident on National Route 14

A road accident occurred early Saturday morning, December 6, 2025, on National Route 14 connecting Gafsa to Sfax, resulting in two fatalities and four injuries, including one in critical condition. The victims were transported to the local hospital in Sned and the Houcine Bouzaiene University Hospital in Gafsa, according to a source from the National Guard cited by Mosaïque FM.

Accident Circumstances

The same source specified that the accident occurred when a light commercial vehicle (used for transporting goods) exiting an agricultural track collided with a truck belonging to a private company specializing in olive oil packaging.

Response and Investigation

Following the intervention of agents from the Gafsa Road Brigade and the Sned Civil Protection unit, the bodies and injured individuals were evacuated, and an investigation was opened into the accident.
