Meeting of the Management Committee for the Credit Line to Support the Financial Restructuring of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs)
The Head of Cabinet, Ms. Afef Chachi Tayari, chaired a meeting on Monday, December 15, at the ministry's headquarters, to discuss the management committee's review of applications for the credit line to support the financial restructuring of SMEs.

Agenda
During the session, 11 files were presented to the management committee, including:
- Two companies operating in the food industry, with state commitments totaling approximately 1.392 million dinars (MD) as part of their financial and economic restructuring program
- One company operating in the technical plastics manufacturing sector, with state commitments totaling approximately 1.450 MD as part of its financial and economic restructuring program
- A re-examination of a file for a company operating in international transport and logistics services, with state commitments totaling approximately 10.258 MD as part of its financial and economic restructuring program
- Reports for three companies to monitor the implementation of their economic and financial restructuring program, which showed that they have successfully overcome the financial and social difficulties they faced thanks to the interventions of the credit line
- Two requests for an extension of the implementation deadline for the financial restructuring program, concerning a company in the food industry and a company in the construction materials sector
- Two requests for the disbursement of a study subsidy for two companies
Key Statistics
Since the launch of the credit line to support the financial restructuring of SMEs, 151 companies have had their restructuring programs approved.

Considering that the credit line to support the financial restructuring of SMEs is one of the most important mechanisms that allows economic enterprises to overcome financial difficulties, preserve their sustainability, and maintain the jobs they offer, the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy invites all companies that meet the mentioned conditions to contact the General Directorate of SME Promotion to register for this program.
Eligibility Criteria
Any SME can benefit from these interventions if it meets the following conditions:
- The value of its gross assets is between 100,000 dinars and 15 million dinars, except for companies operating in the commerce, real estate promotion, financial, and hydrocarbon sectors
- It has faced financial difficulties over the past three years
