Tunisia's Pharmaceutical Sector Takes a Crucial Step Forward with SIPHAT's Production Line Relaunch
In a significant move towards reforming Tunisia's national pharmaceutical sector, the Tunisian Society of Pharmaceutical Industries (SIPHAT) has announced the restart of its production line for liquid solution bottles. After several years of interruption, the factory is back in operation, meeting international standards for quality and public health safety.
This relaunch focuses on the production of liquid medicines, including Hexabain, antacids, and various other references. The goal is to increase the availability of essential medicines on the Tunisian market and strengthen national production capabilities.
The restart of this production line is part of a broader process of rehabilitating the company, following the successful resumption of production for dry forms, suppositories, and physiological serum. The ultimate objective remains to restore SIPHAT's strategic role within the healthcare system.
The Ministry of Health has commended the commitment and sense of responsibility shown by SIPHAT's management, technicians, and workers, whose efforts have been instrumental in achieving this reform trajectory.
