Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies and Tourism (FTAV) Signs Cooperation Protocol with Saudi Commission for Omra and Visit
The Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies and Tourism (FTAV), represented by its president, Ahmed Bettaïeb, and the Saudi Commission for Omra and Visit, represented by its vice-president, Mohamed Ben Hichem El-Habbach, have recently signed a cooperation protocol.
Objectives of the Agreement
According to a statement from the FTAV, this agreement aims to:
- Strengthen bilateral relations between Tunisia and Saudi Arabia
- Promote cooperation in the field of Omra and Visit The agreement has several objectives, including:
- Developing and improving Omra and Visit services
- Facilitating procedures for pilgrims and visitors
- Strengthening partnerships between Tunisian and Saudi enterprises
Benefits of the Protocol
The FTAV emphasized that the signing of this protocol represents a new stage towards strategic cooperation. This collaboration will benefit travel agencies, tourism companies, pilgrims, and visitors from both countries, while developing the religious tourism sector and strengthening fraternal ties between Tunisia and Saudi Arabia.
4th International Tourism and Omra Exhibition
On Friday, September 12, 2025, the 4th International Tourism and Omra Exhibition took place at the Tunis Convention Center, with the participation of several travel agencies. The event aimed to promote religious and cultural tourism and enhance Tunisian tourist products.
