In a significant security operation, National Guard units in Sidi Bouzid have successfully dismantled an international network specializing in drug trafficking. According to a statement released by the National Guard's General Directorate on Sunday evening, the operation led to the arrest of three foreign nationals, aged 28 to 34 years old.

During the operation, agents seized 270 cannabis packets and a foreign-registered vehicle used for transporting and moving members of the network. The vehicle was likely used for transporting the illicit substances.
Investigation and Arrests
Following consultation with the public prosecutor's office, a judicial investigation was opened by the Sidi Bouzid Research and Investigation Brigade. The suspects were placed in custody, while two other individuals were added to the list of wanted persons to facilitate further investigations and initiate necessary legal proceedings.
