Tunisian Court Sentences Young Man to Prison for Threatening Security Patrol
The criminal chamber of the Tunis Court of First Instance sentenced a young man to six months in prison today, Friday, for pointing a fake gun at a security patrol in Sidi Bou Saïd, north of the capital.

Videos widely shared on social media showed the young man threatening a security patrol with a fake gun during the events of the "Flotilla of Resilience". In a second video, he was filmed protesting against a traffic police officer. After his arrest and appearance before the Tunis Correctional Court, the young man was detained.
