Fishing Boat Sinks off Coast of Sfax, Tunisia, Resulting in Two Fatalities
A small fishing boat sank on the night of Monday, December 1, off the coast of Sidi Mansour, in the governorate of Sfax, causing the death of two sailors. According to Mohamed Chlago, president of the Regional Union of Agriculture and Fishing of Sfax, there were three people on board at the time of the shipwreck. The bodies of two sailors have been recovered, while units from the National Guard, Navy, and Civil Protection are actively pursuing search operations to locate the third missing sailor.
