School Director in Coma for Over 20 Days After Violent Robbery in Tunisia

A school director has been in a coma for over 20 days after being the victim of a violent armed robbery that occurred at dawn in the El Amra delegation, which falls under the governorate of Sfax, according to a statement from his son, journalist Saned Ammar of Diwan FM.

Ammar stated that his father was attacked by a group of irregular migrants while he was just a few meters away from his home. The assailants allegedly stole his mobile phone and a sum of money before violently attacking him with a sharp object.

The victim was transferred to the intensive care unit of the Habib Bourguiba University Hospital in Sfax, where he remains in a critical condition. According to his son, the patient showed slight signs of motor reaction under the supervision of the medical team on the same day.
