Important Traffic Update in Radès
The Ministry of Equipment and Housing informs road users of a significant change in traffic circulation in Radès. This measure accompanies the launch, by the National Sanitation Office (ONAS), of renovation works on a 1400 mm diameter sewer pipe. The construction site is specifically located at the turn leading to the Nessma TV chain, on the axis connecting the Borj Ghorbal interchange to the main entrance of the Radès stadium.
Traffic Interruption and Detour
To ensure the smooth execution of the operations, traffic is interrupted on the section between the entrance to Nessma TV and the main intersection of the stadium. Motorists arriving from Borj Ghorbal are invited to turn right towards the ONAS intersection, then to bypass the ONAS roundabout before turning left through the opening arranged to join the access to the stadium via the BSB intersection.
Alternative Route
Meanwhile, the direction of traffic from the stadium to the Borj Ghorbal interchange is also closed. Drivers wishing to reach the South highway or the A1 motorway are asked to take the National Road 1 through the BSB intersection and then the Oued Meliane intersection.
Effective Dates and Precautions
These arrangements, effective since Thursday, February 12, 2026, will remain in force until the completion of the construction site. This organization follows the recommendations of the Local Disaster Prevention Commission of the New Medina delegation. The ministry emphasizes the need for each user to strictly respect the temporary signage, to be extra vigilant, and to reduce their speed when approaching the construction zone.
