Seoul Health Minister Mustapha Ferjani Discusses Cooperation Opportunities with His South Korean Counterpart

Health Minister Moustapha Ferjani Meets with South Korean Counterpart

Health Minister Moustapha Ferjani met with his South Korean counterpart, Jeong Eun-kyeong, Minister of Health and Social Affairs, on Tuesday. The meeting took place on the sidelines of his participation in the 4th edition of the Global Biotechnology Summit, scheduled to be held on September 17 in Seoul, the capital of South Korea.

According to a statement from the ministry, this meeting was an opportunity to strengthen bilateral cooperation relations in the health sector. Several topics and future projects were discussed, including:

  • Development of the healthcare system and digital hospital
  • Advancement of robotic surgery and artificial intelligence in medicine
  • Precision medicine and telemedicine

The two parties also discussed the exchange of medical skills and engineers between the two countries, as well as cooperation in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

The minister emphasized that this visit reflects Tunisia's vision of using technology to serve the health of citizens and implement advanced projects to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the near future.
