United Arab Emirates Team Prepares to Face Morocco in Arab Cup Semi-Finals
The United Arab Emirates team is gearing up to face Morocco on Monday at the Khalifa International Stadium, as part of the semi-finals of the Qatar Arab Cup 2025. The team's Romanian coach, Olario Cosmin, has expressed confidence in his players' ability to deliver a high-level performance and secure their spot in the final.
During the pre-match press conference, Cosmin praised the level of play displayed by his team throughout the tournament, particularly against strong teams like Jordan, Egypt, and Algeria. He emphasized the importance of rigorous game management, both defensively and offensively, in order to not give Morocco any opportunities to exert pressure.
"Morocco is a solid, well-organized team capable of rapid transitions. We are preparing for all scenarios and have worked intensively during training sessions. We always seek to control the game as much as possible, defend effectively, and find adapted solutions to each situation. At this stage, the mental maturity of the players is essential," said the coach.
Cosmin also noted that the tournament becomes more demanding from the semi-finals onwards and that the UAE's playing style has evolved since the beginning of the competition. He also praised the "enthusiastic and massive" support of the fans, highlighting their crucial role in the team's access to the semi-finals.
For his part, midfielder Adel Al-Hosani confirmed that the team is fully focused on winning and qualifying for the final. He acknowledged that Morocco is a tough opponent due to their technical value, but assured that the UAE is seeking to offer a new success and satisfy their supporters.
