Ministry of Education Announces Schedule for Synthesis Assignments for 2025-2026 Academic Year
The Ministry of Education has announced that the start of synthesis assignments for the first trimester in secondary schools and colleges during the 2025-2026 academic year is scheduled from December 1 to 6, 2025, with normal classes continuing. The synthesis assignments will take place from December 8 to 13, 2025, with classes suspended.
Key Dates for First Trimester
- December 1-6, 2025: Start of synthesis assignments with normal classes
- December 8-13, 2025: Synthesis assignments with classes suspended
- December 15-20, 2025: Correction and return of synthesis assignments to students with normal classes
- December 20, 2025: Deadline for submission of grades and averages for the first trimester to the administration
- January 5-10, 2026: Class councils for the first trimester
Second Trimester Schedule
- February 14, 2026: Deadline for completion and correction of control assignments
- February 23-28, 2026: Synthesis assignments with classes continuing
- March 2-7, 2026: Synthesis assignments with classes suspended
- March 9-14, 2026: Correction of synthesis assignments with normal classes
- March 14, 2026: Deadline for submission of grades and averages to the administration
- March 30 - April 1, 2026: Class councils for the second trimester
Third Trimester Schedule
- May 9, 2026: Deadline for control assignments and correction for 7th and 8th grade basic education and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year secondary education
- May 13-19, 2026: Synthesis assignments with classes continuing
- May 20-26, 2026: Synthesis assignments with classes suspended
- June 22-24, 2026: Deadline for correction and return of synthesis assignments to students

- For 9th grade basic education:
- May 9, 2026: Deadline for control assignments and correction

The Ministry of Education emphasized that if May 26, 2026, coincides with the Eid al-Adha holiday, the scheduled exams for that day will be postponed to May 28, 2026.
