Government Head Announces Upcoming Reforms in Education Sector

The Head of Government, Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri, announced on Friday in Tunis the imminent launch of "profound and necessary" reforms in the education sector, on the occasion of Knowledge Day. Speaking at the celebration ceremony at the headquarters of the International Diplomatic Academy of Tunis (ADIT), where deserving children of the Government Presidency staff were honored, she stated that these reforms will be undertaken under the aegis of the Higher Council for Education and Teaching, whose work will begin soon. This council, she specified, aims to be a mechanism for finding innovative solutions to ensure equity, equal opportunities, and improve the quality of education in all regions of the country.

During her speech, Zaafrani Zenzri congratulated students who excelled in the national exams for the 2024-2025 academic year and expressed her gratitude to teachers and the entire educational staff for their efforts. The Head of Government affirmed that academic excellence is the result of hard work and determined will, emphasizing the need to cultivate ambition to overcome the challenges of knowledge and contribute to Tunisia's progress. She highlighted that Tunisia needs the new creations and ideas of its youth, who, she said, constitute the future of the country and an inexhaustible wealth for Tunisia.
