Meeting Between the President of the Republic and the Head of Government
The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, received Madame Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri, Head of Government, yesterday, December 18, 2025, at the Carthage Palace.
Discussion on the Historical Lesson
This meeting focused on the historical lesson addressed by the Tunisian people on December 17, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Revolution. This lesson highlighted a high degree of awareness and a deep understanding of the smallest details, as well as precise knowledge of the facts, with the people being fully informed.
Messages from the People
The Head of State added that the people sent messages whose scope leaves no doubt and gave a lesson to all. The day of December 17 was a historic day that will be recorded in the annals in golden letters, the essence and content of which consist of moving forward on the path traced by the people with their blood, wounds, and hopes. There is no question of undermining our national sovereignty, and accountability, in accordance with the law, remains imperative, as it is a legitimate right of the people in view of the extent of the injustices suffered, the looting of their wealth, and the squandering of their resources.
Warning to Those Who Persist in Their Errors
As for those who persist in their errors and tergiversations, they should know that the State is not governed by publications on social networks or by the fabrication of non-existent documents, if not in their morbid imagination: they are unmasked and exposed.
Construction and Edification Process
The President of the Republic emphasized that the process of construction and edification has indeed begun, but many parties have hindered or, at the very least, slowed it down, thus revealing what they were hiding. All those, regardless of their positions, will not be saved by complicity, servility, or treason. No voice can rise above that of the people, who have taken to the streets not only in the capital but in all regions of the Republic.
Commitment to the People's Dignity and Pride
As for those who consider power as a simple chair and a source of privileges, without seeking to satisfy the demands and expectations of our people, they are not one of us and we are not one of them. The dignity of our country, the pride of its people, and its national flag will remain high, and each grain of sand, each drop of water, and each breath of wind from our homeland is worth more than all the treasures of the world.
Lesson to Those Who Conspire Against the People
The Tunisian people yesterday slapped all those who conspire against them and gave a severe lesson to all those who think they are masters or claim to give lessons. The lesson was given by the Tunisian people: no immunity for anyone, and no comfort for any traitor or agent.
