President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, Receives Head of Government

The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, received the Head of Government, Ms. Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri, on Monday, October 27, at the Carthage Palace.

Strengthening Cohesion and Social Role of the State

The Head of State once again emphasized the need to strengthen cohesion within government action and across various public structures, stressing that Tunisia is currently going through a decisive historical stage. The decisions currently being prepared, he affirmed, will not disappoint the expectations of the Tunisian people and will not undermine the social role of the State. He also insisted on the continuation of opening new perspectives for those who have been victims of a system based on hunger, repression, and division.

Public Services and Accountability

The President of the Republic indicated that all public services must be at the service of citizens. Anyone who harms or mistreats them, in any form, will not go unpunished. Those who have caused harm and destruction will have to account for their actions. The funds of the Tunisian people must be fully restored to them, as they constitute a legitimate right. As for those who have chosen another path, by throwing themselves into the arms of colonial powers and recruiting agents to serve them, they must know that they will have to answer for their actions.

State Management and Virtual World

The President also emphasized that the State is not managed through the so-called "virtual world". The Tunisian people, through their consciousness, solidarity, and attachment to their sovereignty, will thwart all attempts at destabilization and manipulation - paid campaigns, known in their sources and evident in their objectives.

Situation in the Country and Environmental Issues

Furthermore, the Head of State reaffirmed his constant monitoring of the situation throughout the country. He welcomed, in this regard, the numerous studies developed by citizens themselves, which inspire pride and admiration, particularly those related to the environmental situation in the city of Gabès. He expressed his solidarity with their pains, aspirations, and initiative spirit, saluting their cohesion and resistance in the face of those who seek to sow discord.

Patriotism and National Unity

He paid a strong tribute to their patriotism, as well as to the entire Tunisian people inside and outside the country, which he described as a "solid bulwark". Tunisia, he concluded, will remain united and each citizen will regain their legitimate rights: the right to build freely, the right to justice, freedom, work, and national dignity. Solutions are on the way, he assured, and every Tunisian will soon breathe pure air, free from all forms of pollution.
