Charitable Association “Dar Al Wad” Launches New Edition of the Solidarity Sports Event “Run and Make Them Happy”
The charitable organization Dar Al Wad has announced the launch of the new edition of its solidarity sports event “Run and Make Them Happy.” This year’s edition aims to support orphaned children by providing them with Eid outfits, an initiative driven by a group of young coaches and athletes.
The project follows a previous collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages. This time, the organizers have chosen to back Dar Al Wad to strengthen the association’s efforts, which currently cares for 341 orphans across 171 Tunisian families.
Event Schedule
- Duration: Throughout the month of Ramadan
- Race dates: Every Sunday, including 8 March and 15 March
- Previous edition: Held on 22 February and 1 March
Open and Free Participation
The association emphasizes that participation is free and open to everyone. Professional and amateur athletes, sports clubs, and any citizen wishing to contribute to this noble cause are invited to join.
Symbolic Contributions for Eid Outfits
While the races are free, participants can make symbolic donations that will be fully dedicated to purchasing Eid clothing for the children. This adds a charitable dimension to the sporting activity and helps bring joy to families in need.
