Temporary Road Closure for South‑Entrance Extension Works (Lot 1)

As part of the extension works on the southern entrance of the capital (lot 1), the Ministry of Equipment and Housing has announced a temporary closure of local road 457 that connects Tunis to Mégrine, at the Saint‑Gobain Bridge heading toward Mégrine.

  • Closure dates: Wednesday night and Thursday night, 11–12 March 2026
  • Hours: 22:00 – 04:00 (local time)

  1. From central Tunis to Mégrine

    • Take Avenue Moncef Bey
    • Cross the Bab Alioua Bridge
    • Join National Road 1
  2. Alternative route via Saint‑Gobain Bridge

    • Head toward El Mourouj
    • Use the Bir El Kassaa interchange toward Radès
    • Access National Road 1
