Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Announces New Regulations for Umrah Pilgrims
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has confirmed that all visa holders, regardless of type, can perform Umrah rituals during their stay in the Kingdom. This announcement is part of the ministry's efforts to simplify procedures for pilgrims and expand the circle of beneficiaries of the services offered, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The ministry, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), specified that these visas include:
- Personal and family visit visas
- Electronic tourist visas
- Transit visas
- Work visas
- As well as other types of visas
This move is part of the Kingdom's approach to facilitate the arrival of Muslims from around the world to perform Umrah rituals with ease and serenity.
Digital Platform "Nusuk Omra"
The ministry also announced the recent launch of the "Nusuk Omra" digital platform, which allows those wishing to perform Umrah to book their services, choose their appointments directly, and obtain the Umrah permit electronically with ease. The platform represents an integrated digital experience that offers beneficiaries flexibility and comfort in organizing their Umrah.
This development aims to enhance the overall Umrah experience, providing a seamless and convenient process for pilgrims to perform their rituals.
