Tunisian Embassy in Doha Announces New Procedure for Citizens Returning via Saudi Arabia
The Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Doha has informed all Tunisian nationals who are in Qatar for family visits or tourism and wish to return to Tunisia on flights departing from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that they can now submit a request to the embassy by e‑mail, attaching the following documents:
- A copy of the passport
- A copy of the Qatar visit visa
- A copy of the flight reservation (if available) or the details of the planned travel itinerary
- A phone number for direct contact

In a statement posted on Friday on its Facebook page, the embassy added that, in coordination with the Tunisian Embassy in Riyadh, it will work to facilitate the issuance of transit visas for the affected citizens at the Salwa border crossing (land checkpoint) in Saudi Arabia, enabling them to travel back to Tunisia.
