Sheikh Hichem Ben Mahmoud, Mufti of the Tunisian Republic, Reminds That Ramadan Is Not a Month of Idleness, but of Work and Personal Effort (Mujahada)

In an interview granted to Radio Nationale, the Mufti emphasized that this sacred month is an opportunity to cultivate the values of sincerity, truth, and hard work, viewing labor as one of the most noble acts of worship.

“We must demonstrate self‑sacrifice, work, and contribute to the development of our homeland with both our hands and our minds, so that we can live up to the responsibility that Islam has entrusted to us,” the Sheikh declared.

He concluded by wishing that this blessed month become a time of brotherhood, tolerance, and solidarity, and a harbinger of prosperity for Tunisia, the Islamic community, and humanity at large.
