Tunisian Athlete Raoua Tlili Wins Gold Medal in Discus Throw

Tunisian athlete Raoua Tlili has won the gold medal in the discus throw event, category F41, this Friday morning, at the World Para Athletics Championships being held in the Indian capital, New Delhi. Raoua Tlili achieved a throw of 33.81m, surpassing Ecuador's Estefany Lopez Macas (29.81m) and Uzbekistan's Navroza Akhmatova (28.83m). This is the second medal won by Raoua Tlili in this global competition, after winning bronze in the shot put, category F41. Thanks to this new title, Tunisia now has a total of 5 medals: 2 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze. As a reminder, Yassine Gharbi had won gold in the 400m wheelchair, category T54, Marwa Brahmi won silver in the hammer throw, category F32, and Yassine Guenichi won silver in the shot put, category F36.
