International Tourism and Omra Exhibition to be Held in Tunis
In a statement to Mosaïque FM, Sami Saidi, Vice-President of the Tunisian Federation of Travel and Tourism Agencies, confirmed that the fourth edition of the International Tourism and Omra Exhibition will take place on September 12 and 13, 2025, at the Tunis Convention Center.
New Features of the Exhibition
Mr. Saidi explained that this session has a new particularity: it expands its scope to include the promotion of Tunisian tourism in addition to Omra services, with the aim of strengthening Tunisia's presence in the Gulf market.
Participation and Objectives
He added that the exhibition will see the participation of the Ministers of Tourism and Religious Affairs, as well as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He emphasized that the objective is to create a space for discussion and direct interaction between travel agencies, officials, and professionals to provide solutions to the problems raised.
Cost of Omra for the 2025-2026 Season
Sami Saidi, Vice-President of the Tunisian Federation of Travel and Tourism Agencies, also addressed the cost of Omra for the 2025-2026 season. He explained that prices have seen a slight increase due to changes in service costs in Saudi Arabia and currency conversion.
Current Prices
Currently, the economic Omra costs between 3,700 and 4,500 dinars. In contrast, prices for the month of Ramadan can reach higher levels, up to 12,000 dinars for a double room.
Efforts to Adapt to All Social Categories
Saidi assured that travel agencies are making efforts to offer a variety of packages to adapt to all social categories, specifying that the cost includes flights, visas, transportation, and accommodation with different specifications.
