Preferential Pricing Points to be Set Up in Ariana Governorate for Ramadan 2026

In celebration of Ramadan 2026, preferential pricing points will be established in the Ariana governorate to alleviate pressure on household budgets. This announcement was made by Sami Bejaoui, Regional Director of Trade and Export Development in Ariana.

Initiative to Support Citizens' Purchasing Power

This initiative is part of the support measures aimed at supporting citizens' purchasing power during the holy month, marked by an increase in demand for food products.

Three Strategic Sales Points in Ariana

The sales points will open their doors on the first day of Ramadan and will be distributed across three strategic locations:

  • La Soukra, Airport Road
  • Cité El Ghazala, behind the municipal district
  • El Menzah VI, where an additional sales point will be set up

These locations have been chosen to cover several high-density residential areas in the governorate.

Prices 20 to 30% Lower than Market Rates

According to the regional official, the main characteristic of these sales points is the prices offered, which are 20 to 30% lower than market rates. Consumers will be able to find a wide range of everyday consumer products, including:

  • Fruits and vegetables
  • White meats and eggs
  • Cheeses and traditional pastries
  • Subsidized products

Additionally, the Citizen Space for Consumer Products in Ariana will continue its activities throughout the month of Ramadan, offering products at competitive prices.

Logistic Preparations Already Underway

In coordination with the Regional Trade Directorate, the municipalities of La Soukra, Raoued, and Ariana have begun logistic preparations and site development. The merchants participating in the operation have been selected according to precise criteria to ensure the quality, diversity, and availability of products throughout the Ramadan period.

Through these measures, the regional authorities aim to contribute to price stability and regular supply of the local market during the holy month.
