Tunisie Challenge Rally: 95 Competitors from 14 Nationalities to Participate in 5th Edition
The organizing committee of the "Tunisie Challenge" Rally announced the participation of 95 competitors from 14 nationalities in the 5th edition, which will kick off tomorrow, Saturday. "The Rally consists of five stages over a total distance of 1127 km that participants will cover over five days," said Anis Nabli, a member of the organizing committee, during a press conference held this Friday in Tunis, in the presence of representatives from the Tunisian Automobile Federation (FTA) and the National Tourism Office.
Rally Course Details
Nabli detailed the Rally's course, specifying that the five stages of the race are:
- Tunis - Sousse (198 km)
- Sousse - Douz (228 km)
- Douz - Douz (267 km)
- Douz - Ksar Ghilane (212 km)
- Ksar Ghilane - Djerba (222 km)
Expected Success and Preparations
"This 5th edition will be a new success," he added, emphasizing that all measures have been taken to ensure the smooth running of the event, particularly in terms of logistics and security.
Participation and Promotion
On her part, Ahlem Bouafif, Secretary General of the FTA, indicated that the start of the first stage of the rally will take place tomorrow, Saturday, from the Tunis City of Culture, specifying that most participants are of French and Italian nationality. According to Bouafif, Tunisian participation will be limited to competitor Hend Chaouch, and the rally represents a renewed opportunity to promote Tunisia's image in sports and tourism.
