Tunisia Experiences Significant Rainfall in Several Regions
Tunisia has seen significant rainfall in several parts of the country over the past 24 hours, particularly during the day and night of Saturday, October 18, 2025.
According to data published by the Tunisian Meteorology and Climate Observatory on Sunday morning, the governorate of Bizerte was one of the most affected areas, recording particularly high rainfall totals.
- The Khatmine station reported a peak of 100 mm, according to a private station affiliated with the Observatory.

- El Azib: 55 mm
- Mateur: 54 mm
- Tinja: 51 mm
- Ras Jebel: 23 mm
- Menzel Bourguiba: 22 mm
- Joumine: 17 mm
- Ghar El Melh: 14 mm
- Ghazala: 12 mm
- Utique: 9 mm
- Bizerte-ville: 4 mm
These rainfall events, with varying intensity, are part of an autumnal rainy episode that has affected the entire northern part of the country. Local authorities are closely monitoring the situation, particularly in areas at risk of flooding, in coordination with civil protection services.
According to the Observatory's forecasts, the weather is expected to remain unstable over the next few hours in the northern and central regions, before gradually improving at the beginning of the week.
