Russian President Vladimir Putin Condemns Assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday that the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and members of his family constitutes a crime that violates all standards of human ethics and international law.
In a message addressed to his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian, Putin wrote:
“Please accept my sincere condolences for the assassination of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Ali Khamenei, and members of his family, in flagrant violation of all standards of human ethics and international law.”
