Uncertainty Surrounds the Emergence of a New Candidate

The month of December is just around the corner, and with it, a scheduled general assembly election organized by the provisional committee. However, the problem at CAB goes beyond setting a calendar. While it is essential to be methodical in administrative matters, the club's long-term viability requires stable revenue and a responsible manager to oversee its affairs.

Unfortunately, these two conditions have not been met, or at the very least, are taking time to materialize. The current financial situation does not encourage individuals to take on this challenge, and the club's internal regulations do not make it an attractive prospect for potential candidates. In fact, a significant financial contribution is required from anyone wishing to access this responsibility, making it a daunting task.

Individuals with the necessary financial resources and willingness to take on this challenge are scarce, particularly in Bizerte. The current interim president, Mohamed Larbi, who has been in office for only two months, deserves credit for his courage in taking on the role. However, the problem persists, and it is up to the committee of former presidents, known as the "Sages," to play a crucial role in supporting the provisional committee and finding a suitable president to lead the club.

Rejecting Unserious Candidatures

While there may not be a rush of candidates, it is essential to decline "fantasy" candidatures, such as those that have been seen in the past and were quickly dismissed. Rumors are circulating about potential candidates, but nothing concrete has emerged yet. In any case, regional authorities must become more involved and provide a minimum guarantee. Repeating the phrase "uniting the region's vital forces" has become tiresome; what is needed is actual support and commitment.

The situation at CAB remains uncertain, and it is unclear whether a candidate will emerge in the coming weeks. The club's future depends on finding a responsible and capable leader who can ensure its stability and success. The provisional committee, the committee of Sages, and regional authorities must work together to address the club's challenges and find a suitable candidate to lead CAB forward.
