A delegation from the Ministry of Trade and Export Development, led by Mourad Ben Hussein, Director General of the Export Promotion Center (CEPEX), visited Wuhan, in the Chinese province of Hubei, as part of efforts to strengthen economic diplomacy and promote Tunisian olive oil on the Chinese market.
The delegation was accompanied by Adel Arbi, the Tunisian Ambassador to Beijing, and Abdelkhalek Dhedhkar, representative of the Department of Economic and Commercial Cooperation.
During the visit, the Tunisian group held several meetings with officials from the Hubei Ministry of Commerce, as well as with representatives of Chinese companies and local chambers of commerce and industry.

To this end, the delegation met with Xu Baofu, General Manager of the Yangluo Port Services Company in Wuhan.
The program included a visit to the port infrastructure and logistics facilities for the export of Chinese products and the import of foreign goods.
An economic and commercial event was also organized to promote Tunisian olive oil, dates, and other local products, with the screening of promotional films and tasting sessions.
The Tunisian delegation also participated in promotional activities within the largest shopping center in Asia, in coordination with the provincial trade commission and in the presence of several local economic actors and media.
