The Specialized Criminal Chamber for examining terrorism cases at the Court of Appeal in Tunis has handed down a sentence of two years in prison and one year of administrative surveillance to medical student Mohamed Jihad Majdoub. He had previously been sentenced to 10 years in prison and 5 years of administrative surveillance in a first-instance trial for a terrorism-related case involving an attempt to join terrorist organizations.
