Tunisian President Kaïs Saïed Receives Award-Winning Twins
The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, received the Tunisian twins Bissan and Bilsan Kouka on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Carthage Palace. The twins won the first prize in the Arabic Reading Challenge 2025 on October 23 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, during the ninth edition of this prestigious competition.
A Symbol of Pride for Tunisia
At the beginning of the meeting, the Head of State expressed his pride and that of the entire Tunisian people for this achievement, extending his warmest congratulations to the two winners. He praised their remarkable performances, which impressed the audience with their eloquence and mastery of the Arabic language, echoing around the world.
Exceptional Talent at a Young Age
Kaïs Saïed highlighted that despite their young age (just twelve years old), their interventions were impressive due to their consistency, depth, and linguistic mastery. He described the Arabic language as the language of the Quran and eternal youth, evoking its richness and ability to transcend ages without alteration.
Ambassadors of Tunisia
The President of the Republic further stated that Bissan and Bilsan have dignifiedly represented Tunisia as true ambassadors of the country, inviting them to continue on the path of excellence and knowledge. He recalled, on this occasion, that the reform of the educational system is among the national priorities, with the creation of the Higher Council of Education and Teaching, as provided for in the Constitution, aiming for a profound overhaul of the sector to ensure not only equal opportunities but also the promotion of excellence, creativity, and innovation.
